A 16th century Italian bronze figure of the Apollino raised on a Breche Violette marble base. Probably an element from a Renaissance andiron. This figure derives from the ancient Roman example in the Uffizi, Florence, originally from a Hellenistic example. Of superb surface patina and colour.

Measures - 22.5cm H x 9cm W x 9cm D overall.
