A rare 16th century brass bowl, c.1580. German, possibly Nuremberg. With bold repousse lobed boss to the centre. Of good colour, early brass. Heavy gauge. Superb patina and not over polished. Fabulous colour to the underside. Would look stunning presented on a piece of early oak.
